Due to the heat and limited time in Medan tour package, we decided to eat legendary eskrim Medan. If Jakarta has Ragusa, Surabaya has Zangrandi, Solo has Tentrem, Medan has Tip Top.
The ice cream here is soft, I ordered Moorkop, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sponge cake. It feels right for me, not too sweet and not too milk. While in Medan, I ordered Badak, a sarsaparila flavored drink. Apparently here, you can get free water. Happy, hot like this free water flow. We paid Rp. 72,000 for 2 ice cream and 2 drinks. Tip Top also sells cakes, pieces of moka cake valued at Rp. 7,000. YOu also can coninue the adventure with Lake Toba tour as the last journey. |
