FWIW. I wondered about some of those ultra fast times. Under 10 sec. The best I've been able to do on an easy puzzle is 1:46.
My thoughts is it should take about 1 sec per empty square in thinking and reaction time.
At thought on cheating. Is it possible to paste in a puzzle? If so I could see someone submitting some sub 10 second times.
