There are too many people that send records impossible! How is this possible? Stop it!!!

I've given it some solid attempts and I can see how sub-60 seconds is definitely possible on easy given a particularly easy puzzle. The 9-second solves do seem annoying though :/

How do I cancel a competition game that is definitely unsolvable? I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the competition is still running. It really needs a cancel option.

The competition is definitely solvable, you can confirm it by looking at the results and see the number of people that actually did solve it.

There is no need to "cancel" the competition. It starts / ends at a given time. The running timer on the button simply shows the time left before the completion becomes unavailable, that's all. You don't have to participate or click the competition button.

I've done a lot of competitions, and I've never come across anything that can't be solved, but yeah, it's irritating to see a time of 0:00. I have been accused of cheating for times I was proud to achieve legitimately, so it feels weird to criticize. I will jump on the band wagon and claim that any puzzle should take at least a few seconds to complete.
